Hello,
I have roughly 15 of these phones that are connecting to a PBX over the internet. For the PBX we are using freepbx with SIP over TLS and Secure RTP. We are using a valid signed wildcard certificate. The phones will register and everything works fine however randomly the phones will unregister for few seconds and then reregister. Not all at once and its very random there does seem to be any pattern or anything going on at the time they disconnect. In the freepbx logs I see the following error message.
SSL SSL_ERROR_SSL (Read): Level: 0 err: <167773180> <error:0A0003FC:SSL routines::sslv3 alert bad record mac> len: 65535
Wondering if anyone has any ideas on what could be causing the issue or how I could go about troubleshooting this.
Edge E350 running firmware 8.2.3.0844
Thanks
Grant

Hello @gbuar ,
Welcome back to the HP Poly community.
You would need to ask someone over at the freepbx side to explain this. In this community we can only advise on Poly Logs.
From our VoIP FAQ:
Apr 17, 2013 Question: How can I setup a TLS connection for SIP signaling and / or troubleshoot this?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.
