I recently update my BIOS  from 1.21 to 1.51  on My  HP Elite x2 1012 G2  after updating the computer wont charge  and my adapter has ability to show voltage that is used by  a device now it shows 5.2v which is very low for pc but when i put on other computer it shows 20v  i tried to rollback to 1.21 but i was forced to rollback to 1.24  and the issue keeps persist  wont charge 

i need help

Hello.

 

I recommend trying with another USB-C charger, preferably the one that HP provided with the laptop. The charger should have an output of 20V with at least 3.25 amps.

 

You can downgrade the BIOS to even lower version. Start with 1.18 which the 1.24 supersedes according to its release notes.

 

If you can't get it to work with any BIOS version or another (tested) charger, then the charging electronics in your laptop are probably faulty and likely requires a replacement system board.
